Evie (Hagstrom) Bowers ’51 recently moved from her stand-alone house of 14 years to an apartment in the same retirement community. She remains active with gardening and at church. She continues to get together a couple times each year with Beth (Reed) Cupp ’51.
George ’51 and Eileen Simpson ’51 moved from Cincinnati to “Hamlet Village” in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, a retirement community that provides a continuum of care from independent to assisted living and full nursing care.
Betty (Smith) Green ’53 continues to play the organ and direct the vocal and hand bell choirs at church, teaches piano lessons and leads the Madison chorale and a small recorder ensemble.
Anne Pennock ’53 has six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, and still loves to visit The Hill.
Ellen Wolfe ’53 is active at First Baptist Church Winnemucca and Red Hat Society American Legion Auxiliary. She travels to California to visit her sons and grandchildren.
Paul ’59 and Carol DuBois ’58 look forward to celebrating 54 years of marriage in August. They are just back from a train trip to Wisconsin and Minnesota where they visited son Christopher. Mary (Olds) ’58 and Jerry Foote also spent several days visiting at Christopher’s home in Stockholm, Wis. The four celebrated a mini reunion just about the time of the 2013 class reunion. Carol and Paul have also recently spent time on Nantucket visiting daughter Megan and her family.
Judith (Hollenbank) Miller ’58 continues her 35 years in the real estate selling Alexandria, Va., one house at a time.
