Moodle

Moodle is a service that Hiram makes available to students and faculty to help them organize their classes. Moodle isn’t used by every professor, and the ones that use it don’t always use all of its features. The main purpose of Moodle is for professors to provide a database of resources for students attending a specific class. This can be done in the form of uploaded documents, links, and other forms of media. Below you will find information on how to use your Moodle account.

How to log in to Moodle:

  1. Go to my.hiram.edu and click on the Moodle link on the top of the screen.

Click on the link indicated by the red arrow.

  2. You will then be presented with three options: My Moodle Courses,  Moodle – For face-to-face/Blended courses, and Moodle – For fully online courses. The first link will take you to a list the courses you are currently enrolled in, with a direct link to that course’s Moodle page. The other two links will take you to the Moodle home page. If you are a traditional student, select the face to face version. If you are an online student or taking courses online, select the online courses link. This will take you to the Learning House site which will take your Hiramnet credentials.
    1. You can alternatively go to online.hiram.edu to directly access Moodle for face to face courses.
  3. Log in using your Hiramnet username and password.
